PCB Issues New Plan to Avoid Controversies in England

Pakistan cricket team has landed in England ahead of their limited overs series against England and the World Cup 2019.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has instructed the players to stay clear of controversies while also limiting the use of social media during the prolonged tour.

The governing body has advised the players to seek permission from the Security Officer Major (retd.) Azhar and Team Manager, Talat Ali while going out. Not just this, PCB has barred players from going out alone.

The PCB, as well as Prime Minister Imran Khan, have advised the players to stay disciplined and stay focused on cricket only while avoiding being embroiled in controversy.

The English media has a knack of sparking controversy during Pakistan’s tours to English shores. There have been quite a few incidents of unwanted controversies in England and PCB doesn’t want any this season as Pakistan begin their World Cup campaign against the West Indies on 31st May.

Following the incident regarding Umar Akmal in the UAE, PCB Chairman, Ehsan Mani has strictly advised the team management to make no compromises on discipline.
