Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formulated a 5-member panel to finalize the recruitment of coaching staff for Pakistan cricket team.
The committee will be responsible for conducting interviews of the candidates who have applied for various coaching roles which are currently vacant.
PCB CEO – previously MD – Wasim Khan will head the panel which comprises others such as Intikhab Alam, Bazid Khan, Asad Ali Khan, and Zakir Khan.

The vacant coaching positions include head coach, batting coach, bowling coach and strength and conditioning coach. Now that the deadline for applying for the posts has passed, the panel will formally interview the candidates and choose the best candidates based on the recommendations.
All eyes will be on the hiring process and it will be interesting to see who bags the responsibility of head coaching role. Former captain, Misbah-ul-Haq and Islamabad United coach, Dean Jones are the top contenders for the post.
