Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Boasts One of The Best Cameras of 2019 [Camera Review]

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has everything you would expect from a flagship series that proudly advertises its mantra of no compromises. It has everything from a gorgeous display and great build quality to a feature-rich S Pen.

We here at ProPakistani got to test the device in person and have brought to you our camera review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.

Primary Camera

The primary camera setup consists of a 12MP main lens, a 16MP ultra-wide lens, a 12MP telephoto lens and a depth sensor under the LED flash.

Samsung has put a lot of focus on wide-angle photography as even the primary lens is able to take wide-angle shots despite there being a separate ultra-wide-angle shooter. The telephoto lens can snap photos with 2x lossless zoom which is especially useful when capturing portrait shots.

The camera produces excellent results with a lot of detail, incredible depth of field and dynamic range, accurate colors, and adequate exposure. HDR performance is consistent and backlit objects don’t show up dark.

The “scene optimizer” feature edits your image for more vivid colors according to the scene.

Video Quality

The camera is just as impressive when it comes to videography. Both the cameras on the phone are able to capture 4k videos and image stabilization is great as always. Samsung has introduced a new “super steady” feature which captures extremely stable videos even if you are running. The feature only lets you record in 1080p but it is a fair trade considering the results.

There is also timelapse, slow motion, and super slow motion.

Selfies and Low Light Shots

Low light photography is something most smartphone cameras struggle with, but the Galaxy Note 10+ never ceased to amaze. Night photos have good detail, impressive dynamic range, and greatly reduced noise.

The camera app has a built-in Night Mode which produces even brighter images with better exposure. The images were softer but there was no artificial sharpening and the results were realistic.

The 10MP front-facing camera has been re-used from the S10 generation. It produces detailed selfies and there’s no over the top skin tone smoothing. It also retains the autofocus which reduces the chances of soft selfies.

Overall, the camera quality is just as you’d expect from a top tier smartphone. No complaints here.

We have a full review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ coming up soon. Stay tuned for more.

    • Yeah its better in terms of documentation or hardware (just one zoom camera). If you compare side by side Note 10 wins in most of areas. Huawei has only benefit of 5x optical zoom, but it will fail in HDR competition. I used both and found that image processing of samsung is way better than Huawei. Check some sample images on my instagram (kamran.aasim), i posted yesterday. I am not fan of smartphone camera, but i was surprised when i compared note10+ camera with my dslr.

  • @Author still you did not got excellent pictures. Your posted images have camera shake. For better review you need to share max possible result. and also better if you can compare with other flagship phones like P30Pro etc
