Sri Lankan Team Given Green Signal to Tour Pakistan

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has finally made the announcement that its team will visit Pakistan for a T20I and ODI series later this month.

According to details, the Sri Lankan team will land in Karachi on 25th September where three ODIs are scheduled. The team will fly to Lahore for 3-match T20I series. The tour will conclude on 9th October.

After alleged terrorist threats, the Sri Lankan team has been allowed to visit Pakistan following approval from the Sri Lankan Ministry of Defense. SLC Secretary, Mohan de Silva has cleared the air surrounding the series, by announcing that the tour will go on as planned:

We have the green light from the defense ministry. The tour is on as we planned. I myself and our office bearers will also be accompanying the team.

Here’s the schedule of the Pakistan-Sri Lanka series, the tickets for which will go on sale from tomorrow.
