Najam Sethi Fined Rs 100 By Court in 35 Punctures Case

Following his failure to submit his response before a session court for the hearing of 35 punctures case, former interim Chief Minister Punjab, Najam Sethi has been fined Rs 100. Additional Session Judge, Muhammad Amjad Khan directed Najam Sethi to submit the fine.

The fine has been imposed after Sethi didn’t submit his written statement before the court despite multiple notices.

According to the details, Najam Sethi had filed a Rs 1 billion defamation case against Imran Khan following the PTI leader’s allegations of corruption and rigging during Chief Ministership days.

The next hearing has been postponed till 14th October, which is also the deadline for Najam Sethi to submit his response. Advocate Sajid Munawar Qureshi appeared before the court on behalf of the defendant, Imran Khan.
