The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday announced that Sarfaraz Ahmed has been removed as Pakistan cricket team’s captain from all three formats.
Soon after the announcement, the PCB social media account shared a video that showed the players dancing and pushing Sarfaraz Ahmed.
The ESPNcricinfo’s Osman Samiuddin pointed out the tweet shared by PCB on a post by T20 World Cup. The footage was later deleted.

After the social media started reacting, the PCB apologized and claimed that the video had nothing to do with the Sarfaraz sacking.
The PCB apologies for this post and accepts the timing of it was wrong. This was a pre-planned post as part of the one-year to go #T20WorldCup promotional campaign. The timing of this post clashed with the captaincy announcement for which the PCB offers its regrets.

Despite the justification, many people claimed that it was an intentional tweet and lashed out against PCB.
