Pakistan Women Complete 3-0 Whitewash Against Bangladesh

Another dominant display by the Women in Green means that Bangladesh are still winless on their tour to Pakistan. Bismah Maroof-led side has completed their third win from as many games against the away team to complete the whitewash.

Batting first, Pakistan posted 117/7 thanks to another half-century by Javeria Khan (54) with help from Omaima Sohail’s 31.

Pakistani bowlers ripped apart the Bangladeshi top order as Anam Amin took two wickets in her first over to dent the away side’s chances. The bowlers kept picking up wickets as Bangladesh only managed to score 89 from their 20 overs, giving Pakistan a win by 28 runs.

Anam Amin was the pick of the bowlers with her 2 wickets for only 10 runs in 4 overs.

Javeria Khan was adjudged man of the match while the player of the series award was shared by Bismah Maroof and Jahanara Alam.
