Samsung Galaxy S11 Will Feature a 120Hz Display

Samsung Galaxy S11 is still months away from making its debut, but leaks are already showing up on the internet about the design and specifications of the device.

S11’s design is rumored to be a mix of the Galaxy S10 and Note 10. The display has a symmetrical look with a circular notch in the center, while the back is lined up with multiple cameras in a horizontal layout.

A prominent tipster named Ice_Universe predicts that the Galaxy S11e is going to have a 120Hz display. He also believes that the S11 will have much smaller bezels compared to its predecessors.

High refresh rate displays gained a lot of popularity after OnePlus 7 debuted with them. Google hopped onto the bandwagon as well with the Pixel 4 and its 90Hz display.

Apple is also rumored to be looking into the technology so it only makes sense to assume that Samsung is looking to one-up the competition with 120Hz displays on its upcoming S11 series.

Other specifications include the Snapdragon 865/Exynos 9830 SoC. There might also be 128GB of UFS 3.0 storage and 8GB LPDDR5 RAM. It will also have support for 5G and it is unclear whether there is going to be a cheaper 4G LTE variant or not.

More details are expected to surface in the coming months.
