Aside from launching common home appliances and ecological electronics, Xiaomi also unveils unique utility devices from time to time such as the Xiaomi Giiker Smart Cube, the foldable QiCycle, Xiaomi Flexible Fan, etc.
The Chinese tech giant has now launched yet another unusual product dubbed the Xiaomi Powerbank and Handwarmer.
The device features a retro radio design in a compact squircle shaped frame. It can heat up to 52 degrees Celcius in an aluminum body that allows quick heat conduction. Its body is also equipped with multi-material composite technology and fire-resistant ABS to keep it safe from fire hazards.
The two buttons on the front are used to switch between power mode and heating mode. Pressing the left button will activate power mode and the LED display will indicate the remaining charge of the battery. Pressing and holding the right button for three seconds switches it to the heating mode where the display will then show the current temperature.
Its 5,000 mAh battery provides 4 hours of hand-warming function with constant temperature levels and is also convenient for charging smartphones in emergencies. The power mode features its own safety measures as well including automatic power off for overcharge protection.
The Xiaomi Power Bank and Hand Warmer is available in Green, Pink, and Red color schemes for $20.
