Xiaomi has made quite a name for itself in the smartwatch market by introducing a variety of feature-rich lineups under inexpensive price tags. Their latest iteration, dubbed the MiTu Rabbit 2S, is targeted solely towards children and continues the company’s trend of affordability with a price tag of only $29.
The MiTu Rabit 2S has a 1.2-inch color display with touch support. It has a child-oriented design with a thickness of only 1.23 cm alongside a round and soft appearance. It also has an IPX8 water resistance rating for protection against accidental spills and splashes.
It features real-time AI location tracking that can pinpoint the user no matter how crowded the location is. The battery compartment holds a 600 mAh power cell that ensures 7 days of standby on a single charge.
The XiaoAI assistant has been modified to become more child-friendly. It automatically silences the watch during school hours and locks all the features besides time checking and SOS functionality. These settings can be customized at all times through the MiTu app.
The MiTu Rabbit 2S is already available for purchase in China for only $29. There is currently no word on international availability.
