The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a dedicated website for golden visa applicants.
A golden visa is a permanent residency visa given to individuals who invest a specific amount of money in the issuing country.
Investors, entrepreneurs, professional talents, and researchers from around the world are eligible to apply for the golden visa of the UAE.
Chairman of Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Ali Mohammed Al Shamsi, said at the launch ceremony:
Launching the website will allow business owners to enjoy a wide range of services and facilities along with unprecedented privileges and multiple options to run and develop their investments. It shortens many procedures and provides them with great facilities not only on the personal and family levels but also on the professional one. They will be provided with all elements of success.

The golden visa website is yet another step forward in creating a stimulating environment for entrepreneurs and start-ups. It is in line with our government’s efforts being made to develop state-of-the-art infrastructure and provide a legislative system that ensures the success of businesses and attract national and international talents across various vital sectors.
Under the ‘Gold Residency Visa’, UAE authorities can issue either a five or ten-year renewable residency visa to the applicants.
