Confirmed: Samsung Galaxy S20 is Coming on February 11th

There have been a lot of speculations about the launch date of the upcoming Samsung S-series flagship. Just as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) started, to stir things up and raise hype, the Korean giant has confirmed that it will be launching the Samsung Galaxy S20 series and the new Galaxy Fold 2 on 11th February 2020.

The news was announced via the company’s official Twitter account along with a small teaser video.

Samsung is expected to take things to the next level with the upcoming flagship series. Analysts are expecting 5G, 8K video capable camera and a 120 Hz buttery smooth display.

Apart from this, the smartphone series is expected to boast Qualcomm’s newest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 865 with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. Another major highlight of the flagship series will be its 108MP quad-camera setup with 5x optical zoom and an ultrawide lens.

As far as Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is concerned, it is expected to be cheaper as compared to its predecessor. However, if rumors are to be believed, it will sport a smaller battery and will feature a clamshell folding design like the Motorola Raze 2019.
