Vivo Donates Essential Supplies to Ministry of National Health Services

Vivo has announced to donate essential supplies to the government of Pakistan amid the novel COVID-19 pandemic.

The smartphone brand will be assisting the Ministry of National Health Services in Pakistan to help source essential supplies for healthcare. For the first step, Vivo will be donating 100,000 masks to the authority to be used in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“During these tough times, we are fighting together to win the battle against this pandemic,” said Mr. Eric Kong, CEO Vivo Pakistan.

Vivo has also extended the expiry of its smartphone warranty from18 March to 30 May till 31 May 2020.

Furthermore, the company’s employees in Pakistan have been asked to work from home as all offices and service centers are closed temporarily. The launch of Vivo V19 has also been delayed until further notice.
