Sindh Launches Its Own App for Students

Sindh Education Minister, Saeed Ghani has said that it is impossible for them to open schools and other educational institutes even after Eid due to rapidly increasing coronavirus cases in the province.

Ghani made the statement while addressing a press conference in Karachi.

We are not in a position to open education institutes in Sindh, and even if we do, parents will not take the risk to send their children to attend schools and colleges.

Ghani said that currently, the provincial government had no substitute for schools. He, however, highlighted that the Sindh School Education Department and College Education Department has launched an android mobile application for students from KG to Class V for distant learning.

Ghani criticized the Supreme Court’s directive to open shopping malls in the province saying that education was more important than Eid shopping.

After the court’s decision, my personal opinion is that we should not only open schools but also allow all kinds of activities, because education is more important than purchasing clothes for Eid.
