Here’s What PUBG Mobile’s Jungle Mode is All About [Guide]

PUBG Mobile’s hot new update, the Jungle Mode, has finally arrived on Android and iOS after a long streak of rumors and leaks. The update introduces the highly-anticipated Jungle Adventure Mode that brings a fun twist to the much-loved Battle Royale. However, it is only available on the classic Sanhok map, and chances of getting Jungle Mode in it are random.

Here is how the game mode works and a few tips to help you get those Chicken Dinners.

Statues and Totems

PUBG Mobile: Top 3 features Of Jungle Adventure mode

Mysterious tribal statues and totems are spread across the whole Sahnok map in Jungle Mode. There are three different types of totems and each one of them grants different types of loot to players who pray to them.

The red ones are Power Totems that reward you with weapons and ammunition, the green ones are Strategy Totems that give you weapon attachments and tactical equipment such as flashbangs, frag grenades, smoke grenades, etc. And last but not the least, the yellow totems are Protection Totems that grant you medkits and armor.

The best time to use these totems is right when you spawn as praying to them takes a bit of time which can be lethal when the fighting starts. Use these totems as fast as possible in the loot phase and move to a more secure location as these spots are high-profile zones. They can also be used as bait.

Hot Air Balloons

Hot air balloons have also been added to PUBG with the new Jungle Mode. These are only found in specific zones and can be used to scout the map for loot, vehicles, players, and more. Keep in mind that these balloons only go upwards and downwards and cannot be used to travel.

These balloons should be used as quickly as possible when they are found as they are giant and colorful indicators of your location that can be spotted from far away. While they do give you a very good angle to shoot at enemies from above, they also leave you very vulnerable. Hence, spending too long in these balloons is a bad idea.

Jungle Fruits

PUBG Mobile: Mysterious Jungle Mode coming June 1st!

A special kind of red glowing fruit can now be found across Sahnok. Looting these fruits and consuming them will give players buffs and debuffs at random. They can restore your health and energy, give you more map awareness, or make the player dizzy for a limited time.

Do not be afraid to use these fruits since the dizziness debuff only lasts a few seconds and does not do much harm. The buffs, on the other hand, are absolutely worth going for.

These will either reveal nearby enemies on the map or airdrop locations depending on the buff you received. The best time to use them is during the fighting phase as knowing the location of your enemies will always give you the upper hand. However, be vigilant as other players might have the same buffs. You never know.

That is all that has been added to the Jungle Adventure Mode in PUBG Mobile so far. Let us know in the comments whether the tips are useful and share your own as well.

  • Ok don’t even try to play on Sanhok, it may seems interesting but getting guns and items after worshipping idols is shirk, so beware..

  • Plz don’t try this mode ismy temple ha iski puja kerny sey gun milta ha plz Esa mat kerna

  • So called update we dont like …
    We are muslims …
I request to all of you please dont play in sanhok because that is the example of temple worship and we believes that is shirk.

    • First of all it’s not an temple it’s tribal worshipping place and secondly people like are discriminating the society by telling that worshipping in temples are against Ur religion so the Hindus would have deleted pubg when the Ramadan week came. So, please don’t tell this kind of nonsense..

      • Most of the hindus will if pubg introduces the model of Ka’aba and players would have to walk around it like muslims do. Or if they introduce namaz in th way we offer it. There is nothing to hurt any religion in Ramadan mode. So the nonsense is coming from your side. Mind it.

  • After this update I deleted the game Because This game is not respect my religion so I won’t to respect you

  • I found it interesting, i hoped they can just make it a mode selection rather than random. I read people saying deleting this game as they had to pray to get guns and ammutation, just wanted to know whether they are playing the game or praying for real in the game, common guys itz just a game, take it in a fun factor not religiously, in the end of the game itz whether u can survive or not, not anything personal in the game.

    • That’s right but I my opinion everything starts from thinking about it we can’t do anything without thinking so our new generation don’t even about their religion I’m sure that Hindus are facing this problem or Christians too that’s a fact that present generation are not sure what they are doing first they will play this game then they will have fun by sharing this in friends and slowly they will start to do this in their real life on the name of fun in above comments I read sudip comment he wrote Hindus would have deleted this game in Ramadan weak o Bhai in Ramadan weak they didn’t make players worship or anything else they gave us common challenges and gave us clothes or nothing but in this mode there fun in worshipping because this is interesting it is interesting for me too that’s a hot update but it’s not good for new generation

  • If you think temple in PUBG map is against your religion and that’s why you deleted the PUBG , i m challenging you if you are the original Muslims that thinks this type of things then you leave the earth because the earth also have many temples , church and gurudwara .
    #FOOLISH

  • Hhhhahahaqh atlast afraid of temples and uninstalling the game… Just becaause of temples … It’s superb guys… Carry on …live with fear …

  • No need delete just don’t need open this mode yes true they make fun of religion

  • Please remove the statue in this game….i will delete the game if u not remove the statue

  • Hypocrisy at its best… People commenting that they would delete the game because of the statue worship, it is just a game so might as well treat it as one… Secondly, you are not forced to worship the idols and it is all a personal choice, so simply don’t do it… Lastly, for all those religious beliefs thats one would be going against just because of the idols, ‘Killing even a single person is equal to killing entire humankind’ as per religion, so why the selective faith and belief? Why follow parts you like and ignore parts you don’t like? And for those who didn’t realize this by now, I am a Muslim as well, and just so that you know, if you intend to hurl me with hatred and start judging me, ‘I never gave a damn to begin with’

  • Bubuji should be deleted and not allowed to manipulate the feelings of Almohads

  • Praying to an idol is serious to some, and while it’s in a game, the idea is repulsive to them as well. Tencent is honestly just ruining the game. They came in strong with Alan Walker and some upgrades, plus the new map in beta now, but not fixing the hacker issues and now this will start their decline. You can’t even utilize tech support they play like oh we no speak english. When I know the younger generation on South Korea does and does it well. This is a stretch to keep people playing and it’s a far stretch in the wrong direction.

  • I don’t know why are people urging whether this nonsense part of idolatry should exist or not. Question is why do we even need this disrespectful feature? Is there no other way to have fun?? Idolatry doesn’t make any sense in this modern world of awareness. Then, why in the game? The thing that hurts me most are those people who claim to be Muslims but are defending Shirk, a sin beyond forgiveness. No one is forcing you to remain a muslim. So, join the Hindus or other pagans & heathens first and then defend worshipping totems…?☹️☹️?? After all, I, on behalf of all the true monotheist believers, request Tencent to remove this extremely disgusting feature from your beautiful game that many of us are obsessed with and be careful of others feelings next time you add anything sensitive. May PUBG MOBILE gain back it’s popularity and rule the gaming world! BTW, many of us gamers miss the beautiful zombies as well. So, give a little attention here please!!!???

  • Why did you guys take away the Arctic mode it was a good mode in the game, I really enjoyed it.

  • This whining about a bunch of totems. No one is asking you guys to pray at these totems for guns and ammo. It’s just a place you can find some quicker. You think they gonna make a game mode where totems are the only place for your gear? Wake up!! It’s a video game people! Also, killing people in a game is ok, but don’t you walk over to those totems and worship for buffs and gear! Pfft! You can’t just pick and choose which parts of your religion you wanna follow and just ignore the rest. That’s not how religion works.

  • Today’s generation have a great attraction to games like pubg free fire call of duty they spend their most of their time in games like me but they don’t what are they doing that’s not right they don’t know anything about religion they just play it and have fun but future the games will like washing brains of kids because they don’t have any awareness believe me that’s not good for mental health they Will discuss about this and everything starts from thinking so we should give awareness to our children I am not talking about only Muslim generation it’s a problem of tadays all kids of all generation they don’t have anything like awareness so keep your children safe believe me future games will have a great scope but they will ruin our relegiois points Not only Muslim but the Hindu point of view chrtian point of view vice versa

  • I want to tell you that u make a article against terrorism in your blog, nowadays Pakistan is doing so much terrorism in India…..

  • Right now I am speaking for the Muslims. Pubg is a game and we play it for entertainment. And about jungle mode, it’s just an update to make the game more interesting. But we have to take it seriously at one point. The matter about worshipping a totem is absurd. It harms our religious point of view. If this game turns into an addiction, it takes out our time. It doesn’t matter if is it for entertainment or for the game or be it fake, it’s not right to worship a totem. Eating the red fruits, using hot air balloons is ok. But tencent games should cut out the part of worshipping totems. It’s not only spoiling Islam, it’s also spoiling other religions. And tencent games is a Chinese company, their religion is as same as ours. They won’t understand the religious view of Muslim or Hindus.
