Teachers had been delivering online lectures using their own resources because schools were closed due to the Coronavirus-induced lockdown. As a result, APSA couldn’t provide teachers the facilities needed to conduct online classes from their homes.

Moreover, APSA ensured that all schools should pay salaries to teachers and other employees regardless of the Coronavirus situation. However, some schools were forced to lay off staff employed on a contract basis due to the economic crisis triggered by the lockdown.

Adapting to the system of online classes was a challenge for both students and teachers as it shifted the focus of teaching from the long-established conventional schooling methods. Problems and issues will come up but APSA will resolve them, said Shah.

  • Then APSA should also provide the resources to all teachers as well. It dsnt matter if a teacher has resources such as a Laptop or Internet connection or not.
