Times Higher Education (THE), a London-based magazine that covers everything related to higher education, has ranked Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) at #67 in the best Golden Age universities ranking for 2020.
QAU is the only Pakistani university to appear on the THE Golden Age 2020 ranking.

THE’s Golden Age ranking includes the best universities from all over the world that have been established for more than 50 years, but less than 80 years.
The ranking is compiled on the basis of the following performance indicators.
- Teaching
- Research
- Citations
- International outlook
- Industry Income
The UK has a strong presence on the list with 21 institutes while the US is the second-most represented nation with 13 institutes.
Moreover, China has 10, Australia 7, Canada 6, Germany 5, and India 3 institutes that have made it to the Golden Age ranking 2020.
