Pakistan yesterday reported 2,751 new coronavirus cases in the country with around 23K tests done in a day.
Of new cases, almost 56% or 1,538 cases were reported from Sindh only where 714 cases were reported from Karachi while Hyderabad, Sukkur and and Naushero Feroz reported 96, 89 and 72 cases respectively.
Sindh reported 40 more deaths due to coronavirus related complications yesterday.
Punjab reported 674 new cases in the province during past 24 hours, while 17 patients died in the region of the viral infection.
KPK, Islamabad and Balochistan added 354, 98 and 47 cases respectively.
Recoveries in Pakistan reached 149,092 or 59.4% of all positive cases while number of active cases today decreased to 89,449 or a level we previously had on June 15th, 2020.
