Huawei’s subsidiary Honor launched its first Ryzen-based laptops with reasonable prices in 2019. This time around, the company has relaunched both laptops with a similar price tag but slightly improved internals.

Aesthetically, both laptops look identical to their predecessors. The only difference is the improved storage specifications.
Honor MagicBook 15 2020 has been launched in three variants:
- Ryzen 5/ 8 GB RAM + 256 GB onboard storage
- Ryzen 5/ 16 GB RAM + 512 GB onboard storage
- Ryzen 7/ 16 GB RAM + 512 GB onboard storage
For comparison the Honor MagicBook 15 2019 offered the following variants:
- Ryzen 5, 8/512GB (Windows 10)
- Ryzen 7, 8/512GB (Windows 10)
- Ryzen 5, 8/512GB (Linux)
- Ryzen 7, 8/512GB (Linux)
The MagicBook 14, on the other hand, has been relaunched in only two variants:
- Ryzen 5/ 16 GB RAM + 512 GB onboard storage
- Ryzen 7/ 16 GB RAM + 512 GB onboard storage
2019’s MagicBook 14 offered Ryzen 5 and 7 based models with 8 GB RAM configuration.
Pricing and Availability
For Honor MagicBook 14 2020, the Ryzen 5 based variant costs $571, and Ryzen 7 based model comes with a $643 price tag.

On the other hand, the base variant on the Honor MagicBook 15 2020 with Ryzen 5, 8GB + 256GB configuration starts at $514. The Ryzen 5, 16GB + 512GB and Ryzen 7, 16GB + 512GB variants will set users back by $600 and $671 respectively.
