Sindh Govt Ordered to Pay Monthly Allowance to Officers Holding Ph.Ds

The Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered the government of Sindh to pay a monthly allowance of Rs. 25,000 to government officials with Ph.D. degrees.

The two-judge panel of Justice Irfan Saadat Khan and Justice Adnan Al Karim Memon delivered the verdict after a petition that was filed by Dr. Ali Abro.

According to the minutes of the court proceedings, the petition presented by Dr. Abro revealed that until recently, some government officials with Ph.D. degrees were being paid Rs. 25,000 rupees in full while others were receiving only Rs. 10,000.

After hearing the case, the panel delivered a written verdict ordering the government to pay all the officers holding Ph.D. Rs. 25,000 allowance without discrimination.
