The Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship (MIUS) is a highly competitive, merit-based award offered by the University of Melbourne in Australia, targeting high-achieving international students from countries with a Gross Domestic Product per capita of US$10,000 or less who are enrolling in a bachelor’s degree. This scholarship provides a 25 per cent tuition fee remission for the standard duration of the course, with at least 110 awards available annually. Candidates are automatically considered for the MIUS upon applying for admission to their chosen undergraduate course, with selection based purely on achieving exceptionally high final secondary school or foundation studies results, such as an International Baccalaureate score of 40 or GCE A Levels of A*A*A*.
