The University of Sheffield, also known as TUOS, is a public research university in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It belongs to the original group of red brick universities. It also serves as a founding member of the Russell Group, an association of research-intensive UK universities. Sheffield’s academic structure includes 21 academic schools organized into five faculties.

The university has over 30,000 students from around the world. Many students come from more than 150 countries.
