The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), established in 1991, is Pakistan’s premier public research university located in Sector H-12, Islamabad. NUST is consistently ranked among the top universities in Pakistan and Asia, with a QS World University Ranking in the top 400 globally.
NUST offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across disciplines including Engineering, Computer Sciences, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, Architecture, Social Sciences, Law, and Health Sciences. The university has 18 constituent schools and institutes spread across campuses in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Quetta, Risalpur, and Gilgit.
All NUST engineering programs are accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and are signatory to the Washington Accord, giving graduates international recognition. NUST is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and holds W4 Category ranking.
Admissions to undergraduate programs are conducted through the NUST Entry Test (NET), which is held in multiple series throughout the year. Students can also qualify through SAT scores.
