Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), located in Nilore on Lehtrar Road, Islamabad, is a federal public research university devoted to higher education in specific disciplines of engineering, natural sciences, and formal sciences. Established under the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), PIEAS has earned the distinction of being ranked No. 1 for Engineering & Technology by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
Although PIEAS offers BS, MS, MPhil, and PhD degree programs, postgraduate programs dominate its academic offerings. The university has a highly qualified faculty and excellent infrastructure spread across a 150-acre campus in the serene surroundings of Nilore, Islamabad.
