Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad, has announced admissions for the BS Second Written Test cycle and MPhil/PhD programs for Fall 2026.

BS Admissions (Second Test):
The application portal for the BS Second Test is now open. The last date to apply is June 12, 2026 (with normal fee) and June 19, 2026 (with late fee). The Second Written Test is scheduled for July 12, 2026 (tentative), to be conducted in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, and Peshawar.

Programs offered include Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, and Physics.

MPhil/PhD Admissions:
PIEAS is also accepting applications for MPhil (NIBGE-C and NIAB-C) and PhD programs. The last date to apply is June 12, 2026 (with normal fee) and June 19, 2026 (with late fee). The written test is scheduled for June 14, 2026 (tentative).

PhD programs are available in Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Medical Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Radiation Physics, and Nuclear Medicine.

Eligibility:
Candidates must meet the minimum academic eligibility requirements as per PIEAS admission criteria. Candidates who appeared in the First Test but were not selected are also eligible to apply for the Second Test.
