The University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore has announced admissions for postgraduate programs (MS/M.Phil/M.Sc and PhD) for the Spring 2026 semester. UET Lahore is one of Pakistan’s most prestigious public engineering universities, established in 1974, offering world-class postgraduate education across engineering, sciences, and management disciplines.

PhD Programs:

PhD programs are available in all major engineering and science disciplines including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, and more across all UET Lahore campuses (Lahore, Faisalabad, Narowal, Kala Shah Kaku).

Online applications opened: November 10, 2025

Last date for admission form submission: December 22, 2025

Entry tests: December 29, 2025 – January 1, 2026

Interviews: January 5–9, 2026

First merit list announced: January 21, 2026

Last date to deposit dues (1st merit list): January 28, 2026

Regular classes commence: February 2, 2026

Eligibility:

MS/M.Phil/M.Sc/Masters: 16 years of education (BS or equivalent) in relevant discipline from an HEC recognized university.

PhD: 18 years of education (MS/M.Phil or equivalent) in relevant discipline from an HEC recognized university.

Merit Formula (MS/M.Phil/M.Sc/Masters): 16-year degree: 40%, Entry test: 40%, Interview: 20%.

Application fee: Rs. 3,000/- per program. Separate application required for each program.
