Eligibility Criteria
You must meet all of the following:
- Hold citizenship in an eligible country as defined by the Swedish Institute.
- Apply for a full-time master’s programme that is eligible for the scholarship.
- Be liable to pay tuition fees at Swedish universities.
- Have verifiable work experience; some regions require a minimum number of hours.
- Demonstrate leadership experience from employment, volunteering, or civil society work.
- Be admitted (or conditionally admitted) to your chosen master’s programme by the university admissions announcement.
You cannot apply if you already hold a degree from a Swedish university, have lived in Sweden for two years or more, have Swedish/EU citizenship, or have previously received an SI master’s scholarship.
