Who is eligible to apply?
Anybody applying to an EPFL Master’s program can apply, the scholarship application is part of the regular Master’s application form. Students who already hold a Master’s degree or are already enrolled in a Master’s program are not eligible.
How do I apply for the fellowship?
External applicants must tick the Excellence Fellowship box in the online Master’s application form by the application deadlines.
Do I need a minimum GPA or language test?
There’s no formal minimum GPA requirement, but the selection is very competitive. Language certificates (e.g., TOEFL) are welcome but not required for evaluation.
Can I defer my admission and keep the scholarship?
No, if you postpone or defer your Master’s admission, the fellowship is forfeited. You may reapply the next year through the standard process.
