ICP Connect Study Scholarship at GU

Applicants must:
Hold nationality and reside in one of the 29 eligible countries in Africa, Asia, or Latin America at the time of application.
Be within age limits (e.g., 19–35 for bachelor/initial masters; up to 45 for advanced masters).
Not currently hold another scholarship to attend a program or have previously studied at a Belgian higher education institution before the intake year.

Scholarships are offered for various ICP Connect study programs including bachelor, initial masters (2 years), and advanced masters (1 year) in fields like sustainable development, aquaculture, epidemiology, food technology, statistics, development studies, and more.

Selection considers:
Motivation and professional goals linked to sustainable development,
Professional experience and potential to transfer skills back home,
Gender and regional balance, and
Support for applicants from vulnerable groups under the Leave No One Behind policy

You must:
Check eligibility and choose a study program.
Apply for both admission to the program and the ICP Connect scholarship through the university’s website.
Ensure you only apply for one ICP scholarship per year and indicate your scholarship interest on the application.

Selection results are shared by the university and VLIRUOS typically contacts successful and waiting-list candidates by mid-June after the selection process.
