International Business Master’s Scholarship

Eligible programs include:
Master of Applied Finance (MAppFin)
Master of Business Analytics (MBusAn)
Master of International Business (MIntBus)
Master of Management (MMgt)
Master of Marketing (MMktg)
Master of Professional Accounting (MProfAcctg)

The scholarship provides up to NZD 24,000 towards compulsory tuition fees, paid as quarterly credits during the full duration of your program.

You must be a new international student (not previously enrolled at the University of Auckland) and have a GPA/GPE of at least 6.00 on your most recent qualifying qualification to be considered.

Selection is based on academic merit, your personal statement (e.g., motivation and career goals), and your potential to succeed in business studies and act as an ambassador for the Business School.

Yes, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 5.00 (B average) each quarter to continue receiving the scholarship.

No, the scholarship must be used in the quarter for which it is awarded and cannot be deferred to another year or intake.

You may hold it alongside other awards as long as the regulations of both scholarships permit and the Scholarships Office is informed and approves.

You must apply to the Scholarships Office by the closing dates listed above and include all required documents (including academic transcripts and a personal statement).
