Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must hold a PhD awarded within the last four years (or expect to complete it before the Fellowship starts). They must also secure a KAUST Host PI (faculty sponsor) and two referees.
How is the application submitted?
Through the online application portal (not by email). Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
What do reviewers look for?
Selection is based on scientific excellence of the candidate, quality and relevance of the research proposal, and suitability of the Host PI and research environment.
Can the research be a continuation of my PhD work?
Proposals should demonstrate novelty and innovation beyond PhD research, rather than simply continuing it.
