The Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship (VC-IES) is the University of South Australia’s flagship merit-based award designed to attract exceptionally high-achieving international students to its full-time Undergraduate or Postgraduate coursework programs. This highly competitive award, with only up to 20 available, provides a substantial 50% reduction in tuition fees for up to four years of study. To be eligible, applicants must have achieved the UniSA equivalent of a High Distinction average in previous studies, and recipients are required to maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0 throughout their degree. Additionally, successful applicants are obligated to serve as a UniSA International Student Ambassador. The scholarship is tuition-exclusive and does not cover living allowance, travel, or health insurance costs.
