The University of Saskatchewan (USask) is a public research university in Canada. It was founded on March 19, 1907. The university is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on the east side of the South Saskatchewan River. USask is the largest educational institution in the province of Saskatchewan.
More than 26,000 students study at the university. They come from over 140 countries. The university offers more than 130 academic programs. It operates 13 colleges, three graduate schools, and six affiliated or federated colleges. The QS World University Rankings 2026 have placed the university at #378.
