Visited Ginsoy Malir and had a really bad experience. We were two families just trying to order and pay separately but the waiter was rude and made his own assumptions. He kept insisting we can’t share food which made no sense.
We asked for the manager but some random staff came pretending to be the manager and started talking about policy we didn’t even ask about. The actual manager came much later and apologized but the mood was already ruined.
This is not the first time we’ve faced this at this branch, which is very disappointing because my kids love Ginsoy and this is the closest one for us.
We left and went to Ginsoy Johar instead completely different experience. Staff there was polite and everything from order to billing was handled properly.
Tonight, I visited Ginsoy (Model Colony branch). I ordered Chicken Chowmein along with soft drinks. However, I was quite disappointed with the pricing of the beverages.
The price of a 300 ml Fizz Up was charged at Rs. 220 + SST, which is significantly higher than its standard retail price. Since Fizz Up is not a product of Ginsoy, it is not appropriate to charge above the retail rate.
The concerns are as follows:
The soft drink was charged above its retail price.
Sales tax (SST) was applied on the already inflated price, which is not justified from any perspective.
This experience was disappointing, and such practices should be reviewed to ensure fair pricing for customers.
The food was great, the staff was polite, and the place was clean. I really liked it.
