Best desi restaurant with vintage theme in Islamabad.

Great desi food. Quaint old themed restaurant. Good choice of golden oldies tunes.

Visited the place for dinner. The ambiance is great with traditional khokha looks. Ordered the dum biryaani which was the best I have had in islamabad. The BBQ items are also great. The only reason for giving 3 stars is the excruciating long wait time, took about 50 minutes for the food to come.

Bad food at a very high price. Had the butter chicken, cheese naan and a chat. All things lacked any flavor at all. They were all very very bland. The quantities are okayish but the price is extremely high. Would rather eat at a better desi place than this. Over hyped for no good reason

Khoka khola is my new favourite place in Islamabad. The whole ambience is so cool..old songs playing in the background..funky pop art and poems and snippets nicely decorated on the wall..the cutlery gives the whole dhaaba feeling with steel plates and water glass.. and the food disappoints either .. the cheese nan and butter chicken are a must try.
