Internet is filled with food bloggers and food enthusiasts coming up with weird recipes. There are some crazy food combinations out there that sometimes turn out well whereas other times they make you gag. Continuing the weird food trends, this time the fast-food eatery, McDonald’s, came up with a bizarre food combination. Fast food chains usually come up with new innovative dishes for their loyal patronage. However, not all these innovations are welcomed by the customers. According to Money Control, Mcdonald’s China launched a limited-edition coriander ice cream sundae that will only be available till February 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

McDonald’s China has come up with a coriander-flavored ice cream sundae topped with a special coriander sauce. The limited new cilantro ice cream sundae by Mcdonald’s has taken the internet by storm. It’s either making people feel intrigued or making them gag. The fast-food eatery has launched the new flavor for only a limited time. The coriander ice cream sundae is selling at CNY 6.6 in McDonald’s stores in China as a series of “members only” promotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twitter user Daniel Ahmad shared the photo of the coriander ice cream. The picture showed a McDonald’s cup with vanilla ice cream topped with green coriander sauce and coriander leaves. He wrote in his tweet, “McDonald’s China launched a Cilantro Sundae special menu item today, which is interesting,”. So far, the post has received over 2.3k likes and hundreds of comments and retweets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

People’s Reaction On Twitter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Some people were in support of this dessert while others were disgusted by it. “I\u2019m reporting this for violent and graphic content,” wrote one Twitter user. While the other Twitter user joked: \u201cWhat an innocent looking dessert, entirely ready to obliterate people.” “I am denouncing my heritage,” wrote another person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While many people were not thrilled by this unusual combination, some liked the flavor. ” Cilantro ice cream is really good. Anyone who hasn’t tried it should – spicy + sweet\/creamy does amazing things on your tastebuds. The only thing I object to is that Mcdonald’s will probably do a crappy version of a good thing”, said a user in support of coriander ice cream. “I bought one, pretty good. But it is more like lime&mint but not Cilantro”, wrote the other person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, it’s not the first time that a fast food joint has introduced a weird food combination. There have been other bizarre savory and sweet items that have appalled the internet. In April 2021, sandwich chain Subway had also launched a new coriander-flavored cookie.
