Formerly known as <strong>Mobilink,<\/strong> jazz is one of the best mobile network and internet services provider in Pakistan. Since 2010 the company is owned by <strong>Russian Alfa Group<\/strong>. The company was founded in 1994 as a joint venture between <strong>Saif Group<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Motorola Inc<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Jazz users can subscribe to a social bundle and use <a href=\"https:\/\/procapcut.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">CapCut templates<\/a> to enhance their video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, or any other social media channel.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A bit of Jazz History<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In February 2001,<strong> Orascom Telecom<\/strong> bought Motorola\u2019s shares in Mobilink which made them the majority shareholder of the company. However, in 2010, a Russian Telecom operator \u2013 <strong>Vimpelcom<\/strong> &#8211; which is now known as <strong>VEON<\/strong>, acquired most of the assets of Orascom Telecom, including Mobilink, in a $6.5 billion deal.<\/p>\n<p>After the acquisition of <strong>Pakistan&#8217;s Warid Telecom<\/strong> (a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi group) by <strong>Vimpelcom<\/strong>, Mobilink was officially rebranded as \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/jazz.com.pk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jazz<\/strong><\/a>\u2019. The first-ever telecom merger in Pakistan created a combined subscriber base of over 50 million.<\/p>\n<p>After the merger with Warid, Jazz was allowed to use Warid\u2019s technology-neutral license which allowed them to become the country\u2019s second LTE mobile network operator at that time. Also, in June 2017 PTA officially awarded Jazz its 4G spectrum.
