Read the following instructions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Type your CNIC number and send it to 8171.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The Ehsaas team shall verify your credentials from their database.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>After verifying the credentials from database, they will tell you whether you&#8217;re eligible for the cash grant or not.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Payment to beneficiaries will be made after biometric verification through more than 18,000 retail shops of two banks Bank Alfalah and Habib Bank in the country.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Those people that are being asked to contact the district administration can also register themselves by using the ehsaas web portal (link: <a href=\"https:\/\/ehsaas.nadra.gov.pk\/ehsas\/\">https:\/\/ehsaas.nadra.gov.pk\/ehsas\/<\/a>)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched several initiatives to deal with coronavirus pandemic. In order to provide relief to marginalized segments of the society, Mr. Khan has recently launched <strong>Ehsaas Emergency Cash <\/strong>program. The <a href=\"http:\/\/pass.gov.pk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ehsaas Emergency Cash<\/strong><\/a> is the largest ever social protection initiative in the history of Pakistan. It aims to provide financial assistance to <strong>12 million families<\/strong>. Under this program, <strong>Rs. 12,000<\/strong> will be given to <strong>12 million<\/strong> deserving families. The total cost set for this program is <strong>Rs. 144 billion<\/strong>. However, if the demand for <strong>Ehsaas Emergency Cash<\/strong> is higher, additional resources will be earmarked.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload aligncenter wp-image-1365 size-full\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 600 417'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/how-to\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Ehsaas-emergency-cash.png\" alt=\"How to Apply for Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program\" width=\"600\" height=\"417\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Applying for Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program<\/h2>\n<p>All <strong>daily wage earners<\/strong> and <strong>labourers<\/strong> can apply for the <strong>Ehsaas Emergency Cash<\/strong> program by enrolling themselves via SMS. The <strong>Ehsaas SMS campaign<\/strong> will help the government identify the rightful beneficiaries.
