Meesha Shafi is a famous singer, songwriter and actress. The daughter of acclaimed artists Saba Hameed and Pervaiz Shafi Syed, Meesha has certainly made a name for herself in the industry. The 40-year-old continues to dish out hit singles every now and then. She is also an active user of social media, particularly Instagram. The singer always takes time out to interact with fans on the popular social media app.
Recently, Meesha went on Instagram, scrolling through stories to find an old wedding picture of Benazir and Asif Ali Zardari shared by their daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari. While people were reminiscing and appreciating the nostalgic factor, Meesha Shafi had other thoughts.
“I kid you not,” the singer wrote, “I saw these pictures on my feed and did a double-take thinking it’s me!”
Meesha took to social media to share a picture of herself in a white bridal outfit to compare the resemblance with her fans. However, netizens are not seeing the resemblance. In fact, social media users took to the comments to troll the singer. Some are offended that Meesha would compare herself to the late PPP leader.
