Mahira Khan will be starring opposite Bilal Ashraf in her next film ‘Superstar’. This is the second time we’ll be seeing Mahira in a mellow film after the rom-com 7 Din Mohabbat In back in 2018.
This film will cast her with a newbie, Bilal Ashraf. He made an impression in Janan, but his role in Yalghaar made him a Pakistani heartthrob.
Details of the Mohammad Ehteshamuddin-directed film are still under wraps, but we got to see Mahira and Bilal’s first looks straight of the set of the shot.
First Look at ‘Superstar’
The 34-year-old megastar posted a selfie from the sets of the film. The caption provides their character names.

We see Mahira donning a royal blue shalwar kameez, with Bilal also in traditional attire.
Bilal Ashraf also posted a selfie with the Raees starlet. He didn’t share any details about the characters other than the names (Bilal copied that caption in Urdu and all).

So all we know is that Mahira will be playing a girl named Noori and Bilal will be essaying the role of Sameer.
We wonder if Noori’s character is as quirky as Mahira in the selfies; or whether Sameer is as adorable as Bilal Ashraf.
