Malaika Arora Says She Has ‘Moved On’ From Dabangg

So no Malaika in Dabangg 3.

Malaika Arora and Salman Khan

Dabangg gave us another Salman style avatar, Sonakshi Sinha, and ‘Munni Badnam Hui‘. With Dabangg 3 we’re all wondering if Malaika Arora will return.

Like the previous installments of the Dabangg franchise, Arbaaz Khan is producing Dabangg 3. While Malaika Arora was featured in item numbers in both previous Dabangg installments, she’s ‘moved on‘ this time around.

No Malaika Arora in Dabangg 3

After Munni Badnam Hui and Pandey Ji Seeti we won’t be seeing Malaika in future Dabangg action. She was also involved as a producer with the past two parts of Dabangg.

“No my dear, I am not involved with the film. Everyone involved with the project has moved on and I only wish each and everyone all the best for the venture.”

Meanwhile, we’ll see Sonakshi Sinha return as Rajjo, and Arbaaz Khan as Makkhi Pandey in the Dabangg 3 cast.

What’s Next For Malaika?

The chances of Malaika Arora being approached to be featured in Dabangg 3 were slim. Since Maliaka Arora dropped the Khan surname, things have not been cordial between her and Arbaaz Khan.

Co-parents to two boys, both Malika Arora and Arbaaz Khan are seeing other people now.

About her future plans in the biz, Malaika Arora revealed that she wants to produce something on her own. A short maybe, but she’s not sure yet.

“I would definitely want to produce some really good content in my company. The kind of content you see across platforms, in films and otherwise, is so promising. I might actually produce a short film or something but nothing immediately.”

She does have plenty of ideas, but can’t decide on one to work on.

“A lot of ideas have come my way and I am just taking my time to green light one or some of them. Actually, this is the best time of my life. For any woman today, life actually begins post 40. It’s an age in which a woman was once considered oh-so-redundant. Today, she’s a lot freer in that same age window.”
