It might end up changing the name of the game for animated flicks in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>The film isn&#8217;t just an animation but also a satire. Although the film is G-rated there&#8217;s nothing general about it. The movie is actually a satire. So basically caricature meets <em>The Jungle Book<\/em>, though evoking and regional without the cultural appropriation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>This isn&#8217;t a Desi version of the Lion King. a G-rated children&#8217;s film.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>A Record-Breaking Film<\/h4>\n<p>That would explain how in six weeks the film has twice the number of records under its belt. Here&#8217;s a list of all the viewership records it broke in Pakistan:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Highest Earnings in 6th weekend:<\/strong>\u00a0The flick has earned more than any other film at the\u00a0Pakistani box office in its sixth weekend, amounting to over\u00a012 million rupees in earnings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Highest Earning in 6 weeks:<\/strong> Its also the only film to have earned over Rs 10 million rupees in six consecutive weeks in local theaters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Highest Paid Sundays: T<\/strong>he movie also earned over Rs 5 million in six consecutive Sundays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Killed the Competition:<\/strong>\u00a0The movie&#8217;s earnings exceeded all other Hollywood, Bollywood and Lollywood films playing in theaters alongside it in its&#8217; fifth weekend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Took the Throne:<\/strong> The Donkey King is now the most successful animated flick released in Pakistan to date, with a gross turnout of 200 million rupees till now.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best Non-Holiday Performer:<\/strong> The flick is the second highest earning non-holiday release in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fastest to Reach 5 Million views on YouTube:<\/strong> The Donkey King trailer was the fastest to reach five million views on YouTube.
