The children&#8217;s book series has fans worldwide and Pakistan is no exception. We even have a Harry Potter themed <em>Hogwarts Cafe\u00a0<\/em>in Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p>Now a Lahore-based production house is taking their love for Harry Potter a step further than writing fan-fiction. They&#8217;re actually making their own spin-off to the series titled <em>The Last Follower and The Resurrection of Voldemort.\u00a0<\/em>The film is said to be at a production stage, with a release scheduled for next year.<\/p>\n<p>While the Harry Potter fandom is not a stranger to fan-fiction-turned-films but this is the first time Pakistani fans went this far.<\/p>\n<p>Given the film is fan-fiction, it does draw from the events of the Harry Potter books and movies. It also references key characters from the book. The film is set in a time following the events of the Harry Potter series and that of the commercial films.<\/p>\n<p>This film though will be non-commercial and is intended as a labor of love for emerging artists as well as known actors such as Umar Darr from ARY Digital\u2019s <em>Lashkara<\/em>, Sheikh Mubashir of Hum TV\u2019s \u2018Dar Si Jati Hai Sila\u2019, and Jazib Akram.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The trailer for the film was screened at a private event will be released for public viewing in September.<\/p>\n<p>The production house teased the idea of the spin-off
