The film is set in a post-apocalyptic future where everyone goes around blindfolded in order to avoid seeing a force that kills those that set eyes on it.<\/p>\n<p>In the Bird Box Challenge, people are trying to get from one point to another blindfolded. Without the use of their sight, the challenge is having some pretty fatal outcomes.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">WARNING Graphic content. In the movie&#8217;s setting, people are not blindfolded for the fun of it. They&#8217;re forced to wear blindfolds to avoid catching a glimpse of the monster that gets into your head and forces you to commit suicide.<\/p>\n<p>Film art representing suicide as a norm, wasn&#8217;t such a great idea then.
