With their fourth child due in May, it may not have been medically safe or possible for the same surrogate to have carried the child after Chicago.<\/p>\n Kanye West and Kim Kardashian already have two other children besides Chicago that were carried and borne to Kim herself, a daughter North West age 5, and son Saint age 3.<\/p>\n The couple turned to surrogacy after complications such as preeclampsia and placenta accreta in Kim K’s two pregnancies.
