Munna Bhai is coming back for a third run and we all can’t wait. Fans have been hopeful to see more of everyone’s favorite con-man since Lage Raho Munna<\/em> Bhai<\/em> (2006). Now it seems those prayers have finally been answered.<\/p>\n

Like all iconic duos, Munna Bhai needs his Circuit. In fact, Circuit was the one to break the news.<\/p>\n

According to actor Arshad Warsi, Munna Bhai and Circuit are tag teaming for the third installment of the beloved Munna Bhai MBBS\u00a0<\/em>franchise.<\/p>\n

Script is Ready<\/h3>\n

The script has been finalized for another adventure featuring the goon with a heart of gold Munna Bhai and his best buddy Circuit. Both Snajay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will be returning to reclaim their roles as Munna and Circuit.<\/p>\n

Warsi slipped details about the upcoming sequel to local media outlets. Based on Warsi’s intel, the film is scheduled for release this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do know that the script is pretty much ready. I do know from Raju that the film will go on floors this year- either mid or the end of the year. The work on the script is going on. As of now, yes it\u2019s Sanju and me. These are the things I\u2019ve been told.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Munna Bhai MBBS<\/em> franchise started when the film achieved blockbuster status back in 2003. Three years later the sequel Lage Raho Munna Bhai<\/em>\u00a0brought back the duo in a brand new continuity.<\/p>\n

Now Circuit has our curiosity piqued as to the connection between the third film and its’ two prequels. The\u00a0third installment also comes after over a decade since the release of the last film.<\/p>\n

This time gap may affect the characterization of the timeless characters according to Arshad Warsi.<\/p>\n

\u201cI tend to do my film and forget about my character and I move on to the next one. I tend to forget, which is what happened with Munna Bhai. When I came for the second part, I was doing the same role differently. I realized something isn\u2019t quite right. Then Raju and I saw a couple of scenes from the first one and remembered how I should be doing. This time too, I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Besides that Warsi also provided news of a fifth installment of the Golmaal<\/em> franchise, another comedy franchise that the actor has been a part of throughout. Warsi said that another part to Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal<\/em> is also on the cards.<\/p>\n
