The picture of an egg was first posted on Instagram on January 4th.<\/p>\n
The poster of that image @word_record_egg had a simple message for its current and future followers. In its bio, it states:<\/p>\n
“Let\u2019s set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)! We got this.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
They really got this, as the post started getting around a million ‘likes’ with every passing hour when it went viral on Sunday.<\/p>\n
