The celebrated actor and Lahore-based music band Call\u2019s lead vocalist Junaid Khan collaborated with the Indian rock band Spunk to create an anthem of unity, Talaash.<\/p>\n
Being a peace lover, Junaid Khan\u2019s upcoming single \u201cTalaash\u201d aims to send a message of positivity to the people of the subcontinent. The song\u2019s vocals have been rendered by Khan and Spunk\u2019s lead vocalist, however Khan has also co-written Talaash\u2019s lyrics. With this track, the musician seeks to heal the wounds and bring India and Pakistan closer together in harmony.<\/p>\n
The literal meaning of Urdu word \u201cTalaash\u201d is \u201cSearch\u201d and in reference to the title, Khan approaches to touch both personal level \u2013 the search for yourself, your own identity, your own place in this world and national level \u2013 the search for a common ground, the unifying purpose.<\/p>\n
Junaid Khan stated,<\/p>\n
\u201cMusic knows no boundaries and this collaboration with Spunk is a way to improve understanding and communication between the two countries. I have always believed in living peacefully in a borderless world and Talaash is going to spread the message of harmony amongst the people of both cultures.\u201d Khan further added, \u201cIt is also a fun song and its genre is metal-rock.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
