The feature film was later screened at a wide\u00a0range of events.<\/p>\n<h3>About Pinky Memsaab<\/h3>\n<p>Shazia Ali Khan\u2019s debut film does grow on you after a while. The Dubai based\u00a0film-maker made this movie about life in Dubai. The movie&#8217;s protagonist is Pinky, a maid in Dubai who is working to support her family.<\/p>\n<p>Pinky is played by actress Hajra Yamin. Other key roles include a Dubai-based writer-socialite Mehr played by model-cum-actress Kiran Malik; a rich banker played by\u00a0Adnan Jaffer, and a driver played by Indian actor Sunny Hinduja.<\/p>\n<p>Model-cum-actress Kiran Malik is probably the most excited about the UKAFF screening.
