Masculinity and Sensitivity<\/h3>\n

Artist Adnan Malik pitched in and said that men need to stop being detached from their feelings. The lack of compassion and emotion is where this toxicity comes from. The Cake<\/em> actor explained that aggression\u00a0towards women comes when some men are not able to achieve unrealistic\u00a0‘masculine’ ideals, and be ‘man enough’.<\/p>\n

“Aggression towards women is often a result of pent up frustration because we can\u2019t cry, be emotional, or be \u2018man enough\u2019……Men struggle with \u2018male identity\u2019 because of these unrealistic (and frankly misogynistic) archetypes.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
